The School Publication

The School’s Publication

Let me tell you a Story,,

Since I’ve became a member of this school publication (GHGP – Green Horizon Group of Publication) which I thought was a dream, I have received such inspiring and encouraging words, that is when they praise my work. This still shocks me every time. Also.., I can say that I have established good bonds with the other members and they’re pretty good subjects to test my corny JOKES on, which I totally enjoy and let’s say…., abuse?! Haha. XD

So this entry will be entirely about them. My Publication Family!

Get to Know my Publication Family

The Senior (Citizens)

Imma start with our really witty and inseparable EIC and Assistant Editor! Hedwig (not his real name) and Kuya King (not his full name). If you see them walking in the corridor you might mistake them as “Julio at Julia, Ang Kambal ng Tadhana” (Julio and Julia, Twins of Destiny) or the “Super Twins” Male Version If there is such. It’s a sight to see them together. Beware though, even if they look harmless they could be very opinionated and lethal……., in writing. According to Kuya King, Hedwig can write a whole article or column without any erasures/revisions. Kuya King on the other hand can read books as thick as a hollow block and he can be a very good and trustworthy walking thesaurus. He can give you a hundred synonyms for the word loquacious, which I don’t even know what the hell it means.

Then comes, Ate Kenndi (totally not her real name), and Ate Carlyn or Carlene? Imma go with Ate Cai, just to be sure. They are pretty much the 2 muses of the Publication. Most of the time, you will see them together, sitting, texting, talking, and a whole lot of other common verbs you can think of that women do. When I asked Ate Cai that if she would be given a chance to have a part of her body be changed or undergo plastic surgery, she answered “height, height and height”. She is pretty short but it suits her grade school like aura and charisma. Ate Kenndi on the other hand is blessed with height unlike Ate Cai (and Imma emphasize that again and again that she’s short. LOLS [peace Ate Cai] but she’s not dwarf-like, just to make sure you understand. haha) She’s thin and she got pretty big and charismatic, mesmerizing EYES! Well, that might be because she usually wears contact lenses, but there’s really something about her eyes. Ate Kenndi is also the kind of person that would wear the same outfit 3 days in a row without smelling like curdled milk. (I was like, how she do that?)

Kuya Alfred, the Publication Mascot. Mascots are usually any animal that best represent whatever the mascot is representing, and if Kuya Alfred is an animal representing the Publication he would be a Tarsier. One very well defined physical characteristic or asset of Kuya Alfred is half moon like silhouette of his face. He has become the standard or template in having a long and sharp, high definition chin.

Then comes Sir Arjunpyo (the proud YFC), Sir Rendel (the Wrestler), Sir TaTa DumDum ( The Midnight Shadow), and Sir Jhessene (Stored Knowledge) are the proud F4 or “Falong Falong Fumormang Four” of the Publication. Sadly they still haven’t found a Jan Di, even though, Kuya Alfred has been volunteering to be their Jan Di ever since.

Nuriyam, Just like his name, his facial expression has a Japanese “nekogal” or neko girl characteristics and charm which he must have perfected through years of imitating their pet cat for recreation.

The Juniors

Currently I’m one of the Juniors. I’m just telling. Haha

Joem at Jomz. Both of them are my classmates and both have the same first names but their not twins and they have no connection or whatsoever. They call each other “kambal” or “twin”. Jomz joined in a declamation contest in the school and unfortunately, she didn’t break a leg and instead ….Kate Won! So Kate and her gang are somewhat, unapproachable in a way that I have only seen them twice? Thrice? Fries? Haha

Lovely Naguillen and Lovely Narvaez. Besides being lovely they both have long hair. The only distinction you can use to know who’s who is that Lovely Naguillen has shiny bangs and Lovely Narvaez has shiny forehead. And just like joem and jomz their not related.

Jason, Kevin and Ginger. I still don’t know much about them, I just know that Ginger is John Rey’s alter Ego, Jason is quiet and he has those nice Korean facial features, and Kevin is Nivek in reverse.

Eljhey, Criscel, Patricia and Arianne, are all high school classmates and they know each other pretty well. They all have this big infatuation with Sir Jan, a school Professor who has this “Wowie De Guzman” vibe all around him. Patricia is a big fan of Sheryl Cruz, a local actress who is famous for her villain roles. Criscel is a pretty quiet looking girl, and she wears this pink headband that makes her look really pretty. Arianne, a very noisy individual. She is currently paying for all her sins in the way of suffering through sore eyes. Eljhey is this small energetic little girl, she is also an eyecandy, she shrieks at the sight of every cute boy that passes the school corridor.

Nesther, Marinel and Joyce G.D. Nesther is the resident Death Note Otaku. She has this really strong facial expression that displayed somewhat a painful, gloomy, fierce, seductive and internally CONSTIPATED emotion when the publication held a photo shoot for a publication calendar. Marinel is this girl which I think have an obsession with white shoes, sandals, slippers, etc. Joyce Goodfellow is truly a “Jolly Good Fellow” and she can write incredible literary pieces. She has somewhat a resemblance to Lovely Narvaez because she also has a shiny forehead. Haha.

Kirby, Lory, and Mary Jane. I don’t know what’s with me against foreheads, which sounds somewhat racist, Lory used to have one sided bangs and now, out of the blue she started showing her forehead. The only difference of Lory’s forehead is that it is not shiny like Goodfellow and Narvaez. Mary Jane is somewhat like Lory’s best friend. No, Mary Jane, does not have a big, shiny forehead. Kirby is a junior cartoonist and his drawings make me envious. Makes me want to practice my drawing skills. Haha

Everyday with these people, I always learn and try new things. Everyday with them is like an adventure which I would want to take. Haha
And that my friends conclude my School Publication Special.

Make Sense with AdSense

I’m Back!

So as I discovered that the Google Adsense doesn’t like having embedded YouTube videos in my Blog, I decided to finally remove them. XD

I’ve been very busy in school, and I became less motivated to update this blog because of my problems with putting up my Google Adsense account to earn me some money. (hoho~~ho) It was pretty disheartening for me to realize that because my blog is somewhat, YouTube dependent??!~! Lols

So as I write this entry, that you are reading right now, you can expect a “major, major” comeback and transformation for ChuNkY YoLK!

Rain in Party Pilipinas!

Oh! I should have known! Like Hello??!! This is the meanest and most disappointing thing Party Pilipinas gave their audiences besides their lame pilot episode.

Well, to be honest, I found myself as a victim of this bad joke. They took advantage of the fact that I wasn't able to watch Rain in their recent concert here in the Philippines with U-Kiss.. T.T (such Bad People!!)

PARTY PILIPINAS don't ever try to do this AGAIN!

I was soo excited when they were introducing Rain and so was some of the audience and then....

There was Mark Bautista making himself look and dance like Rain which I had to admit was pretty good stuff though. I believe that after what they have done.., Mark Bautista will have a negative impact/image to a lot of K-POP fans. (Oh they have no idea how KPOP fans react whenever they do such). So Mr. Mark Bautista, prepare to receive a lot of hate after what you had just tried to do..,

* Sorry I Removed the video due to adsense condition

"To Anyone!.. 2ne1 is Back!

YEAH BABY!!
2ne1 has finally made their comeback with "Clap Your Hands".
I am personally waiting and wanting and anticipating this long awaited comeback of these four fresh and feisty ladies of YG!

The video concept though in my opinion kinda reminds me of "Nal Ddara Haebwayo" or "Try To Follow Me" which was originally was a CF (commercial) for a Cellphone Brand/Model but since it became a huge hit on various online music charts YG decided to give the song a proper MV.

The video reminded me of their last single "Try to Follow Me" simply because of the Marijuana jungle scene in the video. Because in this video 2ne1 had a scene in a jungle also. Plus the styling concept is kinda on the military side which is cool.

*I deleted the video due to AdSense conditions.

Philippine Hostage Crisis

Okayyyy........ This was a really embarrassing truth that we Filipinos have to face..

I actually never plan to blog about this not until, I read this comments in this site VOANEWS.COM
I was furious.......... I know how he must have felt that some of his countrymen who just wanted to tour the country was kidnapped in return. but nobody wanted this to happen (even the hostage taker i believe). I was angry because he is in no position to say such things!!!! No country is vulnerable enough for this things even if they have the latest technology for such!!

Well I could also say that China is a dangerous place to tour for they are the home of such deadly viruses like SARS, AHN1, the MELAMINE SCARE but nooo!! I have nothing against Chinese people most especially this HANK from CHINA. all I want for him to understand that nobody wanted this, and that this can also happen to China or any country and no country should be judged like that.... that's all

Philippine Current President Noynoy Aquino Banned KPOP in Local Radio

This is unbelievably redundant!! I just can't believe that he just did that!!!

If they are Banning KPOP then so should Justin Beiber and Lady GaGa and SO and SO!

The said reason according to the blogs I read around the net is that, P-Noy (is truly abnoy by the way) wants us Pinoys to be truly nationalistic, which became a huge trend since Francs "KIKO MAGALLONA" passed away (which started the nationwide fashion statement of wearing apparels from head to toenails with the Philippine Flag design which again I think is not nationalistic but Stupid because a lot of Filipinos looked like walking Philippine Flags!) And he might have thought that Banning KPOP and Promoting OPM will make Filipinos more nationalistic.

I have nothing against OPM and President Noynoy, it's just that i don't think that it's right! It's foolish, racist and not well thought of! What the Philippines need is not OPM but actual progress!

OPM actually is very western sooo I can say that there is no real OPM! Well maybe back in the days where KUNDIMAN is sang. OPM is so fond of REVIVALS of WESTERN SONGS!!!! take note WESTERN SONGS!! But there are also Filipino artist who made original Pilipino Music as in ORIGINAL!!! like Francis "KIKO" Magallona, Gloc 9, Michael V. Ogie Alcasid and the likes. Then there are the rock and acoustic bands that from time to time are also fans of REVIVALS but they Always try to bring something fresh like Rivermaya, Hale, 6cyclemind and so on. (we've got lots of them)

When KPOP invaded the Philippines it swept the whole nation and got people young and old alike dancing to Nobody by Wondergirls and Fire, I Don't Care by 2ne1 and so on. and then out of the blue PPOP (Pinoy POP) was born and obviuosly, it is patterned to KPOP. It was actually nice that we Filipino's are actually producing new materials instead of endless REVIVALS though this got a lot of KPOP fans furious for PPOP is so close and identical to KPOP and they hate it. Well I don't have a stand about that because I personally like both Genre. I became a fan long before it became known to all Filipino's and was happy to see the effect to my fellow countrymen. Then it hit me that "truly music has a universal appeal". and it can "put away nationalistic prejudices and biases" till now!

I honestly can't understand and never will.
I believe that being a KPOP fan is not being non-nationalistic. I believe that it is a challenge for us Filipino's to re-invent OPM because people are starting to sick of it. It's generally the same thing over and over again. I know that we can do it for Filipino's are creative and talented. No need for revivals and mimicking and BANNING KPOP or any other Foreign Music for that is rubbish, no need for such actions.

New Group SISTAR V.S. 2ne1!

A debuting KPOP Girl is starting to be compared to 2ne1. Primarily because of their fashion, especially in this pic!The mega phone looks alike plus the color theme kinda resemble each other a lot!

Well, it seems that they have the 2ne1 look but can they also have the 2ne1 swagger?
